Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), established by the European Union/European Commission, are a major European research initiative designed to support interdisciplinary research and international exchange. The MSCA includes a postdoctoral fellowship scheme, which is divided into two types: 1) European and 2) Global. For more information, please see the MSCA website.

The Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC) at the University of Hamburg offers an exciting environment for researching handwritten artefacts across various materials, periods, and regions within a collaborative team of doctoral, postdoctoral, and senior/professorial researchers. You will join an international team of researchers from over forty disciplines in the Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Computer Science.

The CSMC is currently the largest research centre of its kind worldwide and is interested in supporting Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship applications related to research on written artefacts. Pre-selected candidates will be invited to a master class in Hamburg prior to the submission of the MSCA application. Please see the list of potential supervisors at the CSMC below.
