CV
José Maksimczuk graduated from the Universidad Católica Argentina (2010). He obtained his PhD in Classics (2018) at the KU Leuven. His dissertation offered a text study and a critical edition of the Byzantine anthology known as Florilegium Coislinianum (8th-9th centuries). Currently, he is postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC) of the University of Hamburg, where he is the PI of a project on the transmission of Aristotelian manuscripts in Byzantium and the spokesperson of a research group on note taking and notebooks (Research Field G).
