Research

How has unequal access to training and research within local and across global communities shaped written artefacts studies? What (or whose) writing practices and kinds of written artefacts have so far been overlooked in written artefact studies? What kinds of questions and bodies of knowledge? What new perspectives would paying attention to these practices, communities, artefacts, and ways of knowing enable us to open up? We seek to explore these questions across a variety of activities in which we also reflect on what a more inclusive research on written artefacts would look like.
