The Cluster of Excellence 'Understanding Written Artefacts' is looking for a Research Associate to work on the material analysis of various written artefacts in cooperation with the Research Fields of the Cluster and further development of procedures and methods for material analysis.

The position is full-time and fixed-term, with a duration of two and half years (until 31 December 2025; starting date is as soon as possible).

Duties include material analysis of various written artefacts in cooperation with the Research Fields of the Cluster; further development of procedures and methods for material analysis; teaching in the Master's programme 'Manuscript Cultures'; and the supervision of technical equipment.
