Campus Party at Universität Hamburg

On Wednesday, 21 June 2023, Universität Hamburg invites all students and staff, along with their families, to a big campus party at Von-Melle-Park. The CSMC is involved with two workshops on ink recipes and papermaking.

With a focus on sustainability, visitors can look forward to a colourful programme with a flea market for students and numerous hands-on activities – many of them especially for children. The open plenary of the Sustainability Office will kick things off from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Hamburg State and University Library. The programme will be rounded off by various vegan and vegetarian dishes from the Studierendenwerk. There will also be live music on stage and a DJ set until late in the evening.

The CSMC will be involved with two workshop, one on producing inks with traditional recipes, the other one on making paper. In other words, visitors will have the chance to produce their very own written artefacts from scratch.
