Winter School on Cuneiform Culture and the Akkadian Language 2020

From 10 to 14 February 2020, the Winter School on Cuneiform Culture and the Akkadian language will be held at the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures in Hamburg, Germany in the form of a one-week intensive introductory workshop. All seminars will be held in English by Prof Dr Dr hc Cécile Michel, Principal Investigator at the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures.

The thematic focus will be on the Old Babylonian dialect, notable for its use in the Code of Hammurabi, dating to the 18th century BCE. For additional information, including the programme, venue, travel, and registration, please follow this link.
