Initial Assesment
20 April 2019, by Webmaster
From April 14-21, 2019, Asma Hilali, Davidson MacLaren, and conservator Ana Beny traveled to Kairouan, Tunisia, to perform an initial collection needs assessment of the NLPCPM that was funded by the CSMC and The Islamic Manuscript Association. During their stay, Beny, Hilali, and MacLaren also met with the General Director of the INP, Dr. Faouzi Mahfoudh, as well as other important individuals. After their visit, they produced an extensive assessment report that will provide a blueprint for future actions of the KMP.
