Editorial Board

The ‘CSMC Guide to Written Artefact Profiling’ was developed starting from the CSMC Manuscript Lab webpage, originally created by Oliver Hahn and Ira Rabin in connection with the Scientific Service projects of the SFB 950 (2011–2020). A revision and reconceptualisation of the former webpage was necessary after the establishment of the Cluster of Excellence ‘Understanding Written Artefacts’; the expansion of disciplines, topics and items studied at the CSMC; and the addition of further scientific and computational methods, equipment and tools to our Labs.

The work on the CSMC Guide started in 2020, with the active involvement of the Early Career Researchers of Research Field A, and in 2021 the Editorial Board was established.
