Research Questions
Research questions are the core of any project and are often specific to the object of study. Nonetheless, a number of recurring questions emerged from past and ongoing activities of the CSMC. We collected the most common ones in this list, with the intent to inspire your research by showing an immediate link between written artefacts and the benefits offered by the domain of artefact profiling.
Each question refers to a larger topic, which is also discussed in the entries, together with different approaches that can be and have been used to get a satisfactory answer. The methods and case studies mentioned and linked in the texts are meant to provide you with examples of effective and frequent approaches, but we do not aspire to be exhaustive. In the end, the identification of the best approach for your specific study will still require a dialogue between researchers from various disciplines and specialised in the various analytical methods.
