Maria Luisa Russo and Banzoumana Traoré (SAVAMA-DCI) were invited by Jutta Vogel Stiftung to the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum (Völkerkundemuseum) of Cologne for a session on the “Spektakuläre Rettung des Weltkulturerbes in Timbuktu”. Joint efforts of German donors and SAVAMA-DCI to preserve Timbuktu manuscripts were presented.
