Events in Timbuktu22-25 June 2016

On the occasion of the the Assembly of the Administrative Council of SAVAMA-DCI held in Timbuktu, SAVAMA delivered to the libraries’ owners the equipment (shelves, tables, chairs, computers) that had been purchased with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office in the frame of the SaMaT project. This delivery has involved the libraries that have been reconstructed or renovated so far.
SAVAMA-DCI and official governmental representatives visited the libraries currently under reconstruction in the framework of the same project. See also the video of the event.
The official ceremony was covered by the Malian tv, ORTM, and broadcast on 2 August.
