Visit to Kaiser Library

German Ambassador Roland Schäfer and Paula Werner (responsible for the Press, Political and Cultural Affairs) visited the Kaiser Library together with project coordinator Dr Bidur Bhattarai. They examined the present condition of the library and held a meeting with Chief Librarian, Mr Dashrath Mishra.

Nepal Project Hands Over Digitised Documents to the National Archives
For decades, a German-Nepalese initiative captured thousands of manuscripts from Nepal’s written heritage on microfilm. Still, more than 20 years after the project's completion, the National Archives lacked access to some of the documents. With the help of CSMC, the gap has now been closed.
