A series consisting of 15 short videos by Bidur Bhattarai offers a brief and accessible introduction to Nepalese written artefacts.

For decades, a German-Nepalese initiative captured thousands of manuscripts from Nepal’s written heritage on microfilm. Still, more than 20 years after the project's completion, the National Archives lacked access to some of the documents. With the help of CSMC, the gap has now been closed.

During a one-day event on 24 November at the Āśā Archives in Kathmandu, pupils learned about preservation measures for written artefacts and digitisations techniques in an interactive and playful way.
